Asime Nabo Project

The Asime Nabo Project is PUCAC’s flagship family healing and empowerment program, meaning “Standing in Solidarity”
It was created to support parents and caregivers of LGBTQI+ children — guiding them from uncertainty to understanding, and from silence to action.

The project creates safe and affirming spaces where families can talk openly, share their experiences, and learn about gender, sexuality, and mental health in culturally relevant ways. Through regular support group meetings, workshops, and community outreach, Asime Nabo helps families rebuild trust, nurture love, and strengthen their role as allies in the fight against discrimination.
